On the morning of December 27, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 "For Traffic Safety in the Capital" contest awarded prizes and launched the 2025 Program.
This is the 13th year the program has been widely implemented throughout Hanoi, attracting the interest and participation of many officials, students and pupils living and studying in the capital.
The 2024 "For Traffic Safety in the Capital" communication program is also the second year to organize two forms of traffic safety knowledge contests in parallel.
The 2024 online quiz contest "For Traffic Safety in the Capital" continues to attract and attract the participation of a large number of students at all levels of secondary, high school, and vocational education in Hanoi.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tien (Traffic Accident Investigation and Violation Handling Team, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) won First Prize in the contest for Traffic Safety in the Capital.
According to the Organizing Committee, the 2024 contest attracted more than 110,000 contestants, an increase of more than 20,000 contestants compared to 2023 (89,996 in 2023).
The 2024 Capital Traffic Safety Writing Contest has 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 5 Third Prizes, and 10 Consolation Prizes.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tien (Propaganda Team for Traffic Accident Investigation and Violation Handling, Traffic Police Department, Hanoi City Police) won First Prize.
The 2024 Internet Traffic Safety Quiz Contest for the Capital has 2 First prizes, 6 Second prizes, 8 Third prizes and 14 Encouragement prizes. In which, the First prize was awarded to contestant Nguyen Hoang Anh - Nam Phong Secondary School (Phu Xuyen district); contestant Le Duc Anh - Tan Dan High School (Phu Xuyen district).
According to the evaluation of the Jury, all entries were carefully invested. However, due to the lack of evaluations that focused on the inadequacies in ensuring traffic safety, as well as the lack of proposals, recommendations, and breakthrough solutions, this year, the Organizing Committee decided not to award a Special Prize for the writing contest.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Loi - Head of the Organizing Committee, Editor-in-Chief of the Economic and Urban Newspaper said: Right at the time of the 2024 Program Summary, the 2025 "For Traffic Safety in the Capital" Communication Program was officially launched with the expectation of attracting more people, officials, students and pupils of Hanoi to pay attention, respond and participate.
"Through the contest, we join hands to foster and spread traffic culture to everyone, every home, actively contributing to ensuring traffic order and safety, and building a civilized lifestyle for Hanoians," Mr. Loi emphasized.
Delegates performed the launching ceremony of the Communication Program "For Traffic Safety in the Capital" in 2025.
The communication program "For Traffic Safety in the Capital" was assigned by the Hanoi People's Committee to the Economic and Urban Newspaper, the City Traffic Safety Committee, the Department of Transport... to coordinate with other units to organize annually since 2011.
