The peak emulation period lasts from now until September 2, 2025, aiming to resolutely prevent and combat IUU fishing; mobilize, attract, and encourage all collectives and individuals to unite, be proactive, creative, overcome difficulties, fight against crimes and violations of IUU fishing; prevent fishing vessels and fishermen from violating foreign waters to exploit aquatic resources; strictly implement international commitments and regulations, especially the requirements of all levels, sectors, forces, Party committees, and authorities of coastal localities to do a good job of preparing to serve the EC Inspection Delegation to work in Vietnam for the 5th time, towards removing the "Yellow Card"; effectively protect, regenerate, and exploit aquatic resources sustainably.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Hieu, Deputy Commander of the Military Fleet, emphasized: “In order to prepare well for the EC Inspection Delegation to work in Vietnam for the 5th time, towards removing the “Yellow Card”; the entire unit, especially the ships performing tasks at sea, must focus on strengthening patrols and controls in assigned sea areas; closely coordinate with relevant units and local authorities to strictly handle violations, especially acts of encroachment on foreign waters... In addition, the Fleet also promotes propaganda and mobilizes fishermen to strictly comply with regulations on aquatic resource exploitation; combine propaganda in the program “Coast Guard accompanies fishermen” to widely disseminate to the people, especially fishermen, about the regulations against IUU fishing of Vietnam and internationally.
