Associate Professor Dr. Do Phu Tran Tinh - Director of the Institute for Policy Development, Ho Chi Minh City National University:

With a large and diverse land area, especially the Southeast region of the province with much room for development, Lam Dong can learn from the experiences of South Korea, Singapore, the US, and China in implementing policies to encourage businesses and people to apply technology in industry and high-tech agriculture to bring success. That is to promote digital infrastructure, innovation, credit incentives, and training digital human resources for the province's strengths.
The province needs to establish a 4-house mechanism including: "State - School - Enterprise - Scientist" in key economic fields, in the direction of establishing a specialized Science - Technology Development Council led by the Provincial People's Committee or the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate research and application strategies in each potential field such as: high-tech agriculture, renewable energy, sustainable digital tourism. Building and implementing policies to encourage businesses and people to apply advanced science and technology in production and business is a fundamental solution to improve productivity, efficiency and competitiveness of the local economy towards rapid and sustainable growth.
The province is researching and developing a package of preferential policies on land, credit, and taxes for innovative enterprises such as: exemption and reduction of land rent for the first 5 years for investment projects in high technology, digital transformation in industrial parks and clusters...
Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong - Senior Advisor, Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer (CIETT), Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry; Head of Ecotech Eco-Village - National Techfest:

In my opinion, the province needs to focus on supporting models and projects for union members and young people to start businesses, exploit local resources, and attract jobs. Currently, Lam Dong has great potential for eco-tourism and culture, with many typical and clean products such as dragon fruit produced according to VietGAP standards, traditional Phan Thiet fish sauce meeting OCOP standards, or hotpot, dried squid, king crab, etc.
Strengthening traceability, intellectual property protection, combining with digital technology and developing the Green Tourism model is the lever for the locality to enhance value, attract investment and develop sustainably. The province focuses on the role of intellectual property in maintaining and promoting local cultural tourism values, solutions to raise awareness of intellectual property in the tourism community; Green Tourism model and the issue of sustainable green tourism development in Lam Dong.
Associate Professor Dr. Dang Xuan Cuong - Deputy Director of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade:

Lam Dong encourages investment in building high-tech integrated factory models such as: enzyme technology, AI to optimize production processes; Blockchain to create a traceability system; NFT to protect digital intellectual property, support technology transfer, commercialize copyright; technology to process agricultural and aquatic by-products into value-added products (capsules, masks, biological packaging materials). With appropriate mechanisms and incentives from local authorities, farm owners and investment production enterprises can apply the above advanced technology models to high-tech agricultural production, deep processing, and increase product value.
