Director of a tourism company in Quang Ngai defrauded 2.4 billion VND to buy virtual currency

On October 23, the Criminal Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police, issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and execute an order to temporarily detain Dang Quoc Nhat (29 years old, residing in Phuoc Thien 2 village, Binh Hai commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province) for the crime of fraud and appropriation of property.

According to the investigation agency, Nhat is the Director of BlueSea Travel and Tourism Company Limited.

In 2023, to have money to buy virtual currency and pay off debt, Dang Quoc Nhat provided a lot of false, fabricated, and untrue information about non-existent tours, called for investment capital, and then appropriated the assets of acquaintances.

Among the victims of Nhat is Mr. TQN (residing in Quang Ngai province). Mr. N. contributed capital and was then robbed of 2.4 billion VND by Nhat.

The case is currently being investigated and expanded by Quang Ngai Provincial Police.

The Investigation Police Agency informs that anyone who is a victim of Dang Quoc Nhat should contact the Criminal Police Department of Quang Ngai Province Police (174 Hung Vuong, Tran Phu Ward, Quang Ngai City), through Investigator Nguyen Trung Tien, phone number: 0911.196.775 to provide information and receive instructions on how to resolve the case.
