In this management period, the joint ministries continue not to set aside or spend the Price Stabilization Fund for petroleum products.

In the previous gasoline price adjustment period (June 13), gasoline prices were adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance in the direction of increasing gasoline products (except fuel oil).

Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 170 VND/liter, the selling price is 21,310 VND/liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline increased by 260 VND, the selling price is 22,230 VND/liter.

Similarly, diesel price was also adjusted up by VND220/liter, selling price at VND19,640/liter. Kerosene price increased by VND300/liter, selling price up to VND19,850/liter.

Responding to the press, a representative of the Domestic Market Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) informed that the participation and withdrawal of businesses from the market happens regularly, in which gasoline is a conditional business item, so it is no exception.

According to a representative of the Domestic Market Department, the need to issue regulations to strictly manage the petroleum trading activities of distributors, such as only allowing distributors to purchase goods from key traders and not to trade with each other, is to overcome the shortcomings in the past.

With the number of petroleum businesses leaving the market recently, the supply of petroleum still basically meets demand.

To ensure the supply of gasoline, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has assigned the minimum total source (including imported and purchased domestic gasoline) to key gasoline trading enterprises.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade is also drafting a decree amending decrees on petroleum business management, which re-establishes the rights and obligations of traders.
