Recently, a source from GalaxyClub revealed that Samsung will upgrade the selfie camera for the successor model of the Galaxy A55.

According to the latest leak, the Galaxy A56's camera system will basically be the same as its predecessor, but there will still be a slight difference in the selfie camera. The device includes: a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP close-up camera, and a 12MP selfie camera.

Although it doesn't have a telephoto camera on the back as many people expected, the Galaxy A56 will be able to take better selfies.

In terms of camera resolution, a higher pixel count will always be better than a lower pixel count. However, in real-world use, a camera needs to do more than just have a high pixel count. Therefore, when taking selfies, you need a good field of view and a sensor that can create a pleasing depth of field effect. They need to collect light and work well in different lighting conditions.

For example, the Galaxy S24's selfie camera is superior to the A55's 32MP camera. Therefore, the A56 promises to bring impressive improvements in selfie and video call quality compared to the previous generation thanks to the new 12MP sensor.
