Erecting Truong Sa milestones in schools, a message about sea and island sovereignty

On March 25, Sky-Line Hill School - Hoi An (Dien Duong Ward, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam ) organized the Sky-Line Young Citizens Week and inaugurated the Truong Sa milestone.

Ms. Le Thi Nam Phuong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Sky-Line Education System, said that after two lucky visits to Truong Sa archipelago, she cherished the idea of building Truong Sa Park on the school campus. All because of her love and admiration for the officers and soldiers who are steadfastly staying at the forefront of the storm, firmly protecting the sovereignty of the homeland's sea and islands.

Coming to Truong Sa Park in Sky-Line Hill - Hoi An, from afar you can see the canopy of 21 square banyan trees symbolizing 21 islands of Vietnam's Truong Sa archipelago. These square banyan trees were brought back from Truong Sa archipelago, as a message to students and Sky-Line's partners about Vietnam's sovereignty, about the national spirit that every citizen must have.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sky-Line Education System added that the park has a Truong Sa landmark chosen from a rock in Khanh Hoa combined with a base crafted from Non Nuoc stone carving village (Da Nang City).

"The construction of Truong Sa Park inside the school has been, is and will be integrating the education program on sea and island sovereignty and patriotism for students in many diverse forms," said Ms. Phuong.

On this occasion, Sky-Line Hill held a young citizen week with the theme "Journey of Self-Discovery".
