Dong Nai will set off fireworks to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

(DN) - On August 5, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province Le Thi Ngoc Loan chaired a working session with relevant departments, branches and units on organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and welcome the success of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, welcoming the new year of Binh Ngo 2026.

Attending the meeting were Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television Nguyen Thi Minh Nham; Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Nguyen Thi Loan.

As planned, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Dong Nai will organize a special art program, lion-dragon dance performance and fireworks display to celebrate on the evening of September 2 and fireworks display at the Provincial Square Park (Tan Trieu Ward) and Suoi Cam Lake ( Binh Phuoc Ward).

For the activities to welcome the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, Dong Nai will announce the logo and slogan of Dong Nai province; announce the Traditional Day of Dong Nai province; organize an exhibition of the province's socio-economic achievements (at the Provincial Square Park, Tan Trieu Ward and 23-3 Square Park, Binh Phuoc Ward) and an art program to welcome the success of the Provincial Party Congress, along with information about the congress results for the people (at the Provincial Square Park).

For the activities to welcome the New Year of the Horse 2026, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will take the lead in implementing the Flower Street of Tran Bien Temple of Literature (Tran Bien Ward) and the Flower Street of 23-3 Square Park; implementing flower clusters and decorations in the centers of communes and wards. In addition, there will be an art program on New Year's Eve, fireworks display in Tran Bien Ward and Binh Phuoc Ward; organizing the 31st National Mountain Climbing Championship to conquer Ba Ra Peak in 2026.

At the meeting, representatives of the departments, agencies and branches gave many suggestions for the plan to organize activities to celebrate major holidays. In particular, Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Dong Nai Newspaper and Radio and Television Nguyen Thi Minh Nham said that towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the unit will conduct a live television bridge; make a video clip introducing Dong Nai province with English subtitles. In addition, the task of information and propaganda about the anniversaries will be carried out in 4 types of press, peaking from mid-August to the end of September 2.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Thi Ngoc Loan requested departments, branches, sectors and units to review activities and complete plans to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; plans to organize activities to welcome the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and activities to celebrate the New Year of the Horse 2026 before submitting them to the Provincial People's Committee.
