Dong Hy: Craft villages attract over 8,600 rural workers

In Dong Hy district, there are currently 43 craft villages, attracting over 8,600 workers, with an average income of 5.7 million VND/person/month.

The tea village in Minh Lap commune (Dong Hy) applies intensive cultivation techniques for new tea varieties, generating an income of over 140 million VND/ha/year.

Besides the vermicelli, orchid, and wood processing villages, the tea village attracts over 80% of workers with stable and regular jobs.

In recent years, craft villages in Dong Hy have promoted the potential and strengths of the locality and contributed to creating sustainable livelihoods for rural workers. From 2022 to present, the total revenue of craft villages has reached an average of over 800 billion VND/year.
