According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's team is in Group A with opponents Thailand, Cambodia and Indonesia. The opening match of the Vietnamese women's team will take place at 7:30 p.m. on August 6 against Cambodia at Lach Tray Stadium ( Hai Phong ).
Group B includes Australia, Philippines, Myanmar and Timor Leste, starting from August 7 at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho .
In the past, the Vietnamese women's team won the Southeast Asian tournament 3 times after Thailand (4 times). The last time our girls won this tournament was in 2019. In the most recent tournament in 2022, the Vietnamese team lost to the Philippines with a score of 0-4 in the semi-finals and then continued to lose to Myanmar in the third-place match.
