This year, the University of Natural Sciences recruits more than 2,400 students for 28 majors (an increase of nearly 600 compared to last year).
The school recruits students through 6 methods:
Method 1. Direct admission according to the regulations of the Admission Regulations
Method 2. Consider the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam
Method 3. Considering the results of the capacity assessment test: The school considers candidates whose results of the high school capacity assessment test organized by Hanoi National University meet the entrance threshold according to the regulations of Hanoi National University (the capacity assessment test results are used within 2 years from the test date).
Method 4. Using international SAT certificates for admission: The school considers candidates with SAT standardized test results of 1100/1600 or higher. The registration code of Hanoi National University with the SAT testing organization (The College Board) is 7853 - Vietnam National University-Hanoi (candidates need to declare the above registration code when registering for the SAT test).
Method 5. Combining high school graduation exam results with international certificates for admission: Candidates with IELTS English certificates of 5.5 or higher or equivalent international English certificates will be converted into English scores for admission combined with the 2025 high school graduation exam results to meet the total score of Math and one remaining subject in the admission combination of at least 15 points.
Method 6. Using other methods: The school considers candidates under agreements, university preparatory programs, and considers candidates according to the admission regulations and admission instructions of Hanoi National University.
The school also gives priority, candidates will be added 1-3 points to the total score if they win prizes in provincial, national or Hanoi National University competitions for excellent students, in 6 subjects including Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, IT, Geography, depending on the major. If they have ACT (standardized test in the US) from 30/36, or achieve 3 A points or more in the British A-Level program, they will also be added 1-2 points.
Tuition fees at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in 2025-2026 are from 16.9 to 38 million VND, an increase of about 1-2 million compared to last year, depending on the major.
