Building new rural areas is an opportunity for the Party and the State to jointly realize the national goal of improving the quality of life of the people. Hanoi ranks third in the country in building new rural areas. To effectively build new rural areas, Hanoi has chosen 3 communes as pilot areas for the city to directly direct, each district has chosen 1 commune as pilot area for building new rural areas and then replicated it in other communes.
Up to now, Hanoi has 18/18 districts and towns meeting new rural standards; 382/382 (accounting for 100%) of communes meeting new rural standards; 188 communes meeting advanced new rural standards; 76 communes meeting model new rural standards...
Directing at the conference, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department Dao Xuan Dung thoroughly grasped the key propaganda tasks for September 2024, such as: focusing on propagating the city's efforts to overcome challenges and achieve many encouraging achievements.
Accordingly, along with the implementation of regular tasks, the City focuses on directing a number of key and strategic tasks, including completing the submission of the Capital Law (amended) approved by the National Assembly; planning the Capital, adjusting the general planning of the Capital which has been commented on by the Politburo and the National Assembly.
In addition, the Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda Department also requested to focus on propagating the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2024) and the 55th anniversary of his death (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024). Thereby, affirming the eternal value of the Testament, an extremely important historical document, crystallizing the thoughts, culture, intelligence, morality and noble soul of a great man. He has brought glory to our nation, our people and our country.
In addition, focus on propaganda to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024); National Day September 2 and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
In particular, focus on disseminating the contents of the Capital Law (amended) such as: the necessity of developing the Capital Law (amended); viewpoints and orientations for building the Capital; basic contents of the Capital Law (amended); policies in the Capital Law (amended)... At the same time, promote disseminating the preparation work for the new school year 2024 - 2025; work to ensure traffic safety, fire prevention, flood and storm prevention...
