The play "The Voice of the Jade Garden Bird" directed by Minh Nguyet for Trang Cinema Theater Company Limited will participate in the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival - 2024

On the evening of November 22, the play "The Voice of the Jade Garden Bird" directed by Minh Nguyet for Trang Cinema and Stage Company Limited will participate in the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival - 2024 at the Ho Chi Minh City Small Stage Drama Theater (5B Vo Van Tan).

On the occasion of this event, director Minh Nguyet announced that her stage will recreate a new version of the script "Endless Field" which she wrote based on the literary work of Nguyen Ngoc Tu.

"For the past 25 years, I have been struggling to find a team of young actors to continue the creativity of artists: Khanh Hoang, Thanh Thuy, Cat Phuong... Luckily, I have found 3 friends who can take on the 3 main characters: Le Chi Na (Nuong and Nuong's mother), Cong Danh (Ut Vu) and Mia Minh Anh (the prostitute). This will be a new version of "Endless Field" - a work based on literature imbued with the character of the Southwest region, which I have many beautiful memories of" - director Minh Nguyet said.

She also suggested that the Script Writing Camp organized annually by the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association should be organized so that young writers have the opportunity to talk, exchange, and listen to their thoughts about literary works, thereby gaining creative experience and improving the literary quality of their scripts.

"At the first Ho Chi Minh City Theater Festival, the organizers expect many new works based on literature, raising the humanistic quality of plays, and to have resources, we must invest from now" - director Minh Nguyet, who has many works with strong literary qualities such as: "But mau", "Ao xua du nen", "Trai tim kieu huong", "Den lan do hang cao", "Canh dong bat tan"... has expected.
