DNO - On the morning of September 4, at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House (Ho Chi Minh Museum, Military Region 5 Branch), the delegation of Da Nang city leaders and delegates attending the first City Patriotic Emulation Congress (2025 - 2030) led by Chairman of the City People's Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet came to offer flowers and incense to President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and heroic martyrs.

Also offering incense were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Ngo Xuan Thang, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung, Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh.

The delegation observed a minute of silence, respectfully offered flowers and incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, genius leader of the Party and people, outstanding cultural figure of the country.

The delegation recalled that during his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh once taught: "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation, those who emulate are the most patriotic". Imbued with his teachings, throughout the process of construction and development, the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city have always upheld the spirit of solidarity, overcome difficulties and achieved many important achievements in all fields.

Patriotic emulation movements have truly become a great driving force, contributing to building Da Nang into an increasingly civilized, modern, and affectionate city, worthy of being a major socio -economic center of the Central Highlands region.

Implementing the major policy of the Party and State on the arrangement of administrative units, Da Nang city and the old Quang Nam province were merged into Da Nang city today and are on a new journey, organizing the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025 - 2030.

The Congress is an opportunity for the Party Committee, government and people of the city to review his teachings, commend good people and good deeds, and promote advanced models; at the same time, affirm new determination on the new development path.
