Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son highly appreciated the efforts and results of the Provincial Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies achieved in recent months.
According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son, in the coming time, the province will review and develop new criteria for poor and near-poor households and national target programs. In addition, the province will focus on implementing social housing to help people settle down. In addition, the subjects who can access policy credit programs are increasingly expanded... This has a direct impact on policy credit activities when it is expected that the number of cases eligible for policy loans will increase.
Therefore, the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies needs to be proactive and coordinate with sectors and localities to develop a plan to implement policy credit in the new period to better meet people's needs for access to policy capital. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the application of information technology, promote digital transformation in policy credit activities to increase connectivity with people and improve work efficiency.
In addition, according to provincial leaders, in many communes, underground water sources are contaminated with iron and alum, people lack water for daily use in the dry season; sanitation facilities of many families do not meet standards. Therefore, the provincial branch of the Bank for Social Policies needs to consider the implementation of the Rural Clean Water and Environmental Sanitation Loan Program as a key task to help people improve their quality of life. At the same time, the provincial branch of the Bank for Social Policies needs to continue to support people who have completed their prison sentences to access policy capital to create jobs for themselves. Along with that, it is necessary to create favorable conditions for people to access educational policy credit programs, especially families whose land is recovered when implementing projects, to help people study to find job opportunities in the future as well as proactively change their jobs when leaving their old place of residence.
To build a team of highly qualified policy credit workers, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son requested the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies and departments, branches and localities to coordinate in organizing training for leaders of savings and loan groups, members of associations and organizations receiving entrusted capital.
