No delay in approving the new urban zoning plans of Nhon Trach

According to the Department of Construction, based on the work of the authorities, up to now, it has been agreed to divide the entire new urban area of Nhon Trach into 3 large areas, the boundary of each area coincides with the administrative boundary of the 3 communes of Phuoc An, Nhon Trach, Dai Phuoc, Dong Nai province.

In which, Phuoc An commune is divided into 4 sub-zones, Nhon Trach commune is divided into 3 sub-zones, Dai Phuoc commune is divided into 3 sub-zones. Phuoc An 1, Nhon Trach 1 and Dai Phuoc 1 sub-zones are identified as the driving forces of each area.

These subdivisions will be developed, adjusted and approved in accordance with Resolution No. 66.1/2025/NQ-CP of the Government (dated July 18, 2025) regulating the handling of difficulties and obstacles in the development, adjustment and approval of subdivision plans for urban areas when implementing the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and the organization of 2-level local governments. The remaining subdivisions will be implemented in parallel with the process of assessing the general urban planning and will only be approved after the general planning is approved.

According to the assessment, currently, the progress of adjusting and approving the zoning plans of the 3 dynamic sub-zones is still slow, which may affect the progress of land auction of a land plot in Phuoc An commune and bidding to select investors for 2 urban area projects in Nhon Trach and Dai Phuoc communes.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha emphasized: Completing the zoning plans of Nhon Trach new urban area is very urgent to carry out land auctions and bidding to select investors for 1 land plot and 2 urban area projects in the area. The actual timeline set by the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee is to be completed in 2025. This is a timeline that cannot be postponed.

Therefore, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha assigned the Department of Construction to take full responsibility for the preparation, appraisal and approval of related plans. At the same time, take primary responsibility for related plans to conduct land auctions in Phuoc An commune.

The Department of Finance is responsible for carrying out bidding procedures to select investors for two urban area projects in Nhon Trach and Dai Phuoc communes based on the progress of the preparation and approval of related plans.
