During this year's National Day holiday, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province organized many exciting cultural and tourism activities, notably the Dak Lak Culture, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 with many attractive activities, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to Dak Lak.
On the afternoon of September 2, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports andTourism of Dak Lak province Tran Hong Tien said that during the National Day holiday of September 2 (from August 30 to September 2), Dak Lak province welcomed nearly 100,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation; including about 1,000 international visitors and the total number of guests staying is estimated at 44,000.
Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 160 billion VND, of which accommodation revenue is estimated at 28.5 billion VND; the average room occupancy rate in the whole province is 55%, especially hotels and homestays near the sea have room occupancy rates of 80-100%.
Of which, the eastern region of Dak Lak province is estimated to welcome 60,000 visitors for sightseeing and relaxation, an increase of 29% over the same period in 2024; there are about 700 international visitors, an increase of 34.6% over the same period last year.
The total number of visitors is estimated at 34,000, up 22.7% over the same period last year; including 500 international visitors, up 31.5% over the same period last year. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 134 billion VND, up 44% over the same period last year, of which accommodation revenue is estimated at 22 billion VND, up 32.5% over the same period last year.
During the National Day holiday this year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province organized many exciting cultural and tourism activities, notably the Dak Lak Culture, Tourism and Cuisine Week 2025 with many attractive activities such as art performances, entertainment, singing and dancing, cheerleading, gong performances and nearly 300 booths displaying and introducing OCOP products, local specialties and regional cuisines across the country...
At tourist areas and spots, tourism businesses must publicly post their selling prices and sell at the posted prices, not allowing violations in the tourism business sector such as: trading in prohibited goods, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, price increases, price gouging, price pressure..., violating regulations on environmental hygiene and food hygiene and safety.
At the same time, tourism service businesses on rivers, lakes, waterfalls... regularly review all existing tourism programs, check the quality and repair and upgrade tourism facilities such as: wooden bridges, wooden floors, suspension bridges, houses on the water, dugout canoes, motorboats, canoes,... and other related equipment; arrange for the unit's rescue and relief forces to be on duty 24/7 to promptly respond to situations that may occur, ensuring absolute safety for the lives of tourists, especially children when participating in the above activities at the unit.
According to the assessment of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province, during the National Day holiday on September 2, the work of ensuring safety, security, order, and fire prevention was ensured; food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation in tourist areas and spots were relatively clean according to regulations; disease prevention work for people participating in cultural and tourism activities was focused on, and no unexpected incidents occurred during the holiday.
