On June 18, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City announced that it has implemented plans to support disabled candidates, candidates who have had accidents, and ethnic minority students in this year's high school graduation exam.

Specifically, a blind candidate will be arranged a separate examination room with a surveillance camera, with a teacher (not teaching the subject) to help read the questions and take notes. The collection of papers, making of sheets and marking of the exam will be carried out according to separate instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training.

A candidate with a mobility disability is also provided with an assistant in the examination room and appropriate tables and chairs are prepared at the examination site to ensure the best test-taking conditions.

For ethnic minority students studying at Pham Phu Thu High School - the only school in the area with ethnic minority boarding students, the Department supports tuition fees, meals and transportation (if any).

In addition to the education sector, many other forces also participated in supporting the exam. The city police mobilized 150 officers and soldiers to work at the examination council's departments and examination sites. The Department of Health arranged 57 medical staff to be on duty at 31 examination sites and marking sites. The Department of Construction also planned to temporarily stop certain types of trucks during the time teachers and candidates were traveling.

More than 2,300 union members and young people will also participate in "exam support" to support and guide candidates during exam days.

According to the plan, the 2025 high school graduation exam in Da Nang will have a total of 14,549 candidates. Of these, 14,156 candidates studying under the 2018 General Education Program will take the exam at 30 exam sites; 393 candidates studying under the 2006 Program will take the exam at a separate exam site. The city will arrange 2 additional backup exam sites, with a total of 609 exam rooms and 28 waiting rooms.

Merging 34 provinces and cities, will the content of the 2025 high school graduation exam change? The merger of provinces and cities involves knowledge in some subjects, especially Geography, but according to a representative of the Ministry of Education and Training, this does not affect the high school graduation exam and candidates' papers.
