Former football star Phan Van Tai Em returns with a new responsibility

(NLDO) – Former football star Phan Van Tai Em promised to try his best to help his provincial team soon regain its position like the golden age of Dong Tam Long An Club.

On the afternoon of September 10, Long An Football Club, Tay Ninh province held a ceremony to launch the 2025-2026 season. At the ceremony, the appearance of former player Phan Van Tai Em attracted the attention of his fans as well as the former Dong Tam Long An Club.

Previously, Hoai Duc Football Joint Stock Company signed a contract to support 100% of the operating costs, training, competition and other costs related to Long An Football Club to participate in the 2025-2026 National First Division. The total estimated cost for Long An football to continue appearing in this season is about 12 billion VND.

The event marked an important turning point when Long An Football Club officially received comprehensive funding to participate in the new season.

Accompanying Long An Football Club, Five Star International Group has sponsored 5 sets of shirts for the team.

Former football star Phan Van Tai Em shares new responsibilities

In the new season, former player Phan Van Tai Em officially returned to the field as Head of Long An Football Club.

After the departure ceremony, Long An football team will play its first match on September 13 against Quy Nhon United football team, at Long An stadium.

Phan Van Tai I wish to bring the provincial football team back to the golden age of Dong Tam Long An Club.

At the departure ceremony, Phan Van Tai Em expressed his wish to work with sponsors to build a "clean, professional, fairplay" football team, always dedicated to the flag and colors.

"I will try my best to help the team play well and soon regain the position of provincial football like the golden age of Dong Tam Long An Club" - Tai Em affirmed.

The head coach of Long An Football Club for the new season is Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Linh, the technical director is former famous player Nguyen Van Sy, the assistant coach is Mr. Phan Van Giau, and the executive director is Mr. Hoang Nhat Nam.
