Duong No ward police informed Mr. V. about the "easy work, high salary" tricks of bad guys. |
Previously, through the Telegram application, Mr. TVV (residing in Mau Tai residential group, Duong No ward) was lured by bad guys, promising him an easy job in Cambodia with a "huge" income. To gain trust, the guys booked a plane ticket from Hue to Ho Chi Minh City and instructed Mr. V. that someone would pick him up and take him across the border.
Believing the enticement, Mr. V. packed his bags and was ready to leave. However, noticing that he was showing many unusual signs, his family reported the incident to the Duong No Ward Police.
Immediately after receiving the news, the police verified and coordinated with the family to meet and analyze for Mr. V. to clearly understand the risks and dangers behind the above promise. After being explained, Mr. V. realized his mistake and gave up the intention of leaving the country.
Mr. V's family sent a letter of thanks to Duong No Ward Police for promptly advising and helping their children recognize the sophisticated scams of bad guys.
The incident is a warning to people, especially young people looking for jobs, to be extremely cautious with attractive invitations on social networks.
