Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long signed Decision No. 1386/QD-TTg dated November 15, 2024 to convert the National Economics University into the National Economics University.
According to the above Decision, the National Economics University is a public service unit, a public higher education institution under the Ministry of Education and Training , with legal status, its own seal and account.
The National Economics University shall reorganize its organizational structure and operations on the basis of the National Economics University in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education and relevant legal provisions; the reorganization process must ensure the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the parties involved, operate normally, and prevent negativity, loss, and waste of finance and assets.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the University Council, the Chairman of the University Council, and the Rector of the National Economics University to continue performing their functions, tasks, and powers according to current regulations until the Minister of Education and Training decides to establish the University Council, recognize the Chairman of the University Council, and recognize the Director of the National Economics University according to the provisions of law.
Decision No. 1386/QD-TTg takes effect from November 15, 2024.
