1. In recent times, with the efforts of departments, branches, sectors, units, and organizations, training courses in many fields and diverse contents have closely followed the reality and needs of students to innovate the form, choose suitable topics, and have high practical applicability. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of training courses. In particular, many training courses are not only organized in the classroom space, but also expanded to study the reality, and provide hands-on instruction, so that students can apply immediately after finishing the course. Many courses are organized right on the spot, reducing costs for travel, accommodation, and creating maximum conditions for learners.

However, the quality of training is still a matter of debate. Some training classes only had a large number of students in the first session, then gradually became sparser, and even when receiving certificates, there were only a few students. There was a training class on preserving traditional culture that, when reporting the performance results, the quality was not as expected, sometimes "no microphone was installed for students to perform because their singing was not good" (?!). And there are many other unspeakable stories from training classes in the province.
2. Recently, training on artificial intelligence (AI) has been of great interest to many agencies and units in the context of the extensive and comprehensive implementation of Resolution No. 57/NQ-TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. This is a very encouraging thing, helping learners gain more valuable knowledge that can be applied to practical work. However, not all training courses are as effective as expected.
There are training classes that invite lecturers with many skills and practical experience, but the way they are delivered is confusing to listeners, especially with issues that need to be clearly and thoroughly explained, such as AI. Some of the training content in the next class has been delivered in the previous class, and the duplication makes students lose interest. Many students join the class with the mindset of "being worried that if they don't learn, they will fall behind", but after the first few sessions, they lose patience and maybe because they are busy with work at the office, so they have to stop. Sometimes, the lecturer has to wait nearly an hour for the class to start. After the training, in some of the class's zalo groups, the lecturer is interested in updating information about AI, but the response is indifference and lack of interest from the students.
3. Training is one of the effective solutions to both enhance knowledge, improve skills, and create conditions for exchange and sharing of experiences between lecturers and learners, and between learners and learners. However, without effective implementation solutions, many training courses are just formalities, ineffective, and costly to organize.
In addition to developing a practical training plan, suitable for learners, closely following the requirements and tasks set out, the implementing unit needs to pay attention to selecting suitable lecturers, referring to training topics, avoiding unnecessary duplication. During the implementation process, it is necessary to consider this as a professional task of learners, monitor, supervise, and remind to ensure the quality of the class. Regarding learners themselves, learning attitude always goes hand in hand with the quality of knowledge acquired. Therefore, a serious learning spirit is needed, "come to learn, go home to apply". After the training, it is necessary to review, evaluate the results, and draw lessons for the next classes; at the same time, the connection between lecturers and learners also needs to be cared for and maintained. Agencies and units sending learners to participate in training need to create maximum conditions, avoiding "sitting in class, mind at work". Only then can the training courses truly fulfill their tasks.
