Preparing for the Mui Ne International Windsurfing Open

The 23rd Mui Ne International Windsurfing Open (Windsurf Muine Fun Cup) in 2024 will take place from February 2-3 at the beach of Jibe' Beach Club (90 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Ham Tien Ward, Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan ). This is an annual international tournament held at the beginning of the new year, attracting a large number of local audiences and international tourists to watch and cheer.

With an expanded international scale, the Mui Ne Windsurfing Tournament targets domestic and international male and female athletes (professional and amateur) who are passionate about the fast and emotional sea sport of windsurfing. With the competition rules according to the Competition Rules of the World Windsurfing Association, the participating athletes will compete on a W-shaped track with a distance of 2,800 meters (downwind) for both professional and amateur men and women.

Athletes will be drawn into groups to compete, with the top position selected for the next round to continue competing to select the champion for each event. The 2024 Mui Ne Open International Windsurfing Tournament is an opportunity to promote the potential and strengths of Binh Thuan's marine tourism and sports in particular, and Vietnam in general, to tourists everywhere.
