A pair of "multi-budded, blooming" deer antlers worth more than 45 million VND

On June 26, Mr. Dinh Nho Mao's family (Cao Tra village, Kim Hoa commune, Huong Son) sold a pair of deer antlers worth more than 45 million VND. This is one of the high-quality pairs of antlers harvested this year in the locality.

The antlers belonged to a 4 year old deer.

According to Mr. Mao, the pair of antlers belongs to a 4-year-old deer in the development stage. This is the third antler harvesting season for this deer. The weight of the pair of antlers this time is 3.61 kg, a significant increase compared to the previous season (only 2.2 kg). The antlers have two symmetrical main branches, bright pink color, regular secondary branches, exuding a "multi-bud, blooming" shape, which is highly appreciated by purchasing experts.

After being cut, the pair of velvet antlers was bought by Mr. Nguyen Kien Cuong - a long-time antler breeder and buyer in Kim Hoa commune at a price of 12.5 million VND/kg, equivalent to more than 45 million VND for the pair.

The velvet pair was bought for more than 45 million VND.

Mr. Mao shared: “My family has been raising deer for more than 10 years. This deer is a good breed, carefully cared for so the antlers grow strongly, each year is always higher than the previous year. This year's antlers season, the price is quite good so people are also very excited.”
