Cam Thanh ranked 20th in the list of 50 most beautiful villages in the world.

ĐNO - Cam Thanh (Hoi An Dong ward) has just entered the top 50 most beautiful villages in the world (The World's 50 Most Beautiful Villages 2025) according to the American Forbes magazine.

Accordingly, Forbes magazine ranked Cam Thanh at number 20 and is the only village in Vietnam honored in the ranking.

As described by Forbes, Cam Thanh village is surrounded by rivers and coconut forests. Exploring Cam Thanh on a basket boat gliding gently through the Bay Mau coconut forest and witnessing local boatmen casting their nets is an unforgettable experience.

On the shore, visitors can choose to cycle to explore every corner with many lotus ponds and shrimp ponds with herds of buffalo leisurely grazing. In Cam Thanh, there are also many special cooking classes for visitors to experience how to prepare local cuisine .

In the list of "The World's 50 Most Beautiful Villages 2025", European villages are highly appreciated by Forbes, occupying 8/10 positions in the top 10. The remaining two villages in the top 10 are located in Japan and the Philippines. In total, in Asia, there are 11 villages honored by Forbes in the list.

In 2024, the world's leading online travel platform Tripadvisor also ranked the experience of riding a basket boat in Cam Thanh coconut forest in the list of 25 most attractive boat experiences in the world.
