As Tri Thuc - Znews reported, CAHN negotiated with midfielder Brandon Ly earlier this year. This player was born in 2005, his father is Vietnamese and his mother is Irish. He currently plays for Burnley's U21 team, in the English First Division. Although he does not have Vietnamese nationality, Brandon Ly expressed his desire to return to his father's homeland and play for a V.League team.
The latest information that Tri Thuc - Znews has, the negotiation process between the Police team and Brandon Ly is going in a positive direction. If nothing changes, this young midfielder will return to Vietnam around the end of June or the beginning of July to work directly with the Police Department, and at the same time learn about the domestic football environment.
Not only stopping at Brandon Ly, CAHN is also said to be approaching another Vietnamese-American player. The identity of this player has not been revealed by CAHN, however, this is a name that has been in the team's sights for quite a while. The promotion steps are being carried out discreetly but show the team's initiative and consistency in the transfer direction.
In recent times, CAHN has been one of the pioneer clubs in searching for and bringing Vietnamese players to play in the V.League. Previously, they successfully recruited Nguyen Filip and Cao Pendant Quang Vinh, and also supported the completion of naturalization procedures so that these two players could play for the national team.
The strategy of searching for overseas Vietnamese players is considered a sustainable direction, contributing to increasing the professional quality of the team and opening up new resources for Vietnamese football. With the current steps, CAHN is proving that they are not only a new force in the V.League but also an attractive destination for Vietnamese talents around the world .
