In Tien Phuoc commune , preparations for the new school year are being carried out carefully. The whole commune currently has 12 schools including: 4 kindergartens, 4 primary schools and 4 secondary schools, with 167 classes and 5,071 students. This school year, 100% of kindergartens continue to maintain boarding with 960 children. At the primary level, Kim Dong and Tran Huynh primary schools organize boarding for nearly 1,000 students; Le Duy Dinh and Tien Phuoc primary schools are also surveying the needs for early implementation.
The policy of teaching 2 sessions/day has been maintained by all 4 primary schools since the previous school year. Only the secondary school level has applied this policy at Le Van Tam and Tran Ngoc Suong secondary schools due to limited facilities.

Ms. Le Thi Thao, Vice Chairwoman of Tien Phuoc Commune People's Committee shared: "This is the first school year that education management has been assigned to the Commune People's Committee, so we pay special attention to reviewing and checking the current status of schools, facilities and equipment. If any difficulties arise, the commune listens to the recommendations of the schools to find temporary solutions, and at the same time asks for guidance from the city."
The commune currently has 316 cadres, teachers and staff, of which 261 are direct teachers. Compared to the demand, the number is still insufficient, especially in specialized subjects. The commune People's Committee has contracted 46 additional cases, and at the same time, transferred and reinforced between schools to ensure enough teachers in class.
Regarding facilities, some schools still lack desks, chairs, computers, magnetic boards, and LED screens; some places have unsafe water supply, corrugated iron roofs and fences, and playgrounds and gyms are not uniform. Faced with this reality, the Commune People's Committee has submitted a proposal to the city to support more than 6.9 billion VND to purchase equipment, repair and upgrade schools and classrooms, creating the best conditions for students to enter the new school year.
At Dai Thanh Primary and Secondary School (Phu Thuan Commune) , the preparation atmosphere is also taking place urgently. The school has completed maintenance of the electrical system, lights, fans, and domestic water; completed fire prevention and fighting equipment; repaired tables, chairs, and toilets; and repainted the fence, school gate, and cleaned the entire campus. This school year, the school has 18 classes with 544 students and 35 staff and teachers.
Ms. Tuong Thi Than, the school principal, said: “In addition to landscaping, the teaching staff also actively participates in training and professional development courses organized by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Department of Education and Training. We are determined to create a friendly, clean and quality learning environment for students.”

At Dai Phong Kindergarten (Vu Gia Commune) , teachers quickly completed cleaning, wiping tables and chairs, taking care of flower beds, planting trees, and creating a cool landscape. The school also used recycled materials to make toys, decorate play and study corners, and build a "fairy garden" for children. At the same time, staff and teachers participated in training on management, care, food safety, nutrition processing, and updated new knowledge on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in drafting and designing lessons.
Principal of Dai Phong Kindergarten Nguyen Thi Tai said that in the 2025-2026 school year, the school will have 11 classes with 260 children, including 2 nursery classes and 9 kindergarten classes. The school proposed adding 4 more contract teachers to ensure the teacher-to-class ratio according to regulations.
At Dai Son Primary and Secondary School (Thuong Duc Commune) , preparations for the new school year have been underway since mid-July. This school year, the school has 19 classes with 434 students. The school has proactively overcome difficulties in the lack of teachers and equipment. For items requiring new investment, the school has made a list and submitted it to the Commune People's Committee and higher authorities for consideration.
According to Ms. Truong Thi Minh Phuong, Vice Chairwoman of Thuong Duc Commune People's Committee, the whole commune has 8 schools including: 3 kindergartens, 2 primary schools, 2 secondary schools and 1 primary and secondary school. The Commune People's Committee coordinated with functional departments and offices to comprehensively review facilities, textbooks, and teaching equipment. Many degraded schools such as Truong Dinh Nam Primary School or Dai Son Primary and Secondary School (campus 1) need large capital sources, the commune has made a detailed plan to submit to superiors for support in the earliest time.
It can be seen that in each locality and each school, preparations for the new school year are being carried out urgently and systematically. Although there are still many difficulties in terms of facilities and lack of teachers, with the initiative of the locality, the drastic participation of the education sector and the efforts of the staff and teachers, the schools are ready to welcome students.
