The debut of “Haha Family – The Vast Sky Days” on the evening of June 14 on VTV3 and YouTube YeaH1 brought a unique “healing” experience. Episode 1 of this reality TV show affirmed its distinct direction: not a noisy entertainment race but a “scriptless movie”.
Episode 1 paints a contrasting picture: from the hurried frames of the city, the scene gradually changes to the peaceful, majestic nature of the Northwest mountains and forests (Ban Lien - Lao Cai ) and the Central islands (Ly Son - Quang Ngai). 5 artists including Jun Pham, Rhymastic, Bui Cong Nam, Ngoc Thanh Tam, Duy Khanh begin the journey of "leaving the city to return to the countryside".
In Lao Cai, the trio Jun Pham, Ngoc Thanh Tam, Duy Khanh faced the challenge of finding a place to stay based on a suggested photo. This journey led them to meet Ms. Vang Thi Thong - a local woman with excellent farming skills, who will be their "master" in the upcoming 7-day, 6-night training course.
At the same time in Ly Son, Rhymastic and Bui Cong Nam embarked on a mission to find the island's "white gold" - Ly Son garlic.
The highlight of episode 1 is the artists' "first time" experiences of becoming real farmers.

Episode 1 ends with the moment when Rhymastic and Bui Cong Nam "talk about tea" in the yard. The sincere sharing about "belonging to the sea" or "loving the mountains" is not only a hobby, but also a nostalgia for childhood. As Bui Cong Nam confided: "In the city, I often say I wish I had a ticket back to my childhood, today... it feels like I got to make that wish come true."
That saying is like the confession of many people, and also a promise of an emotional journey, where artists and audiences will have their souls "regenerated" by nature.
“Haha Family – The Vast Sky Days” is a reality TV show that brings “talented men and beautiful women” to experience real life in rural areas of Vietnam for 7 days and 6 nights.
Starting from Lao Cai, Quang Ngai corresponds to the journey in the North and Central regions. The next locations will be revealed by the producer in the near future.
Through authentic experiences, the program honors the beauty of labor, village love, connections between people and spreads the appeal of lands that still retain the simple, rustic features of Vietnam.
