An Giang 'Business Coffee': A bridge of companionship and development promotion

(Chinhphu.vn) - The "Business Coffee" program organized by the An Giang Provincial Business Association on the morning of September 11 in Long Xuyen ward has become an effective forum connecting the government and the business community, a place to listen, share, resolve difficulties, expand cooperation opportunities, and develop production and business.

Government and Business: Connecting - Sharing

At the program, An Giang Business Association and departments and branches informed about the outstanding results in supporting businesses in recent times, and updated new policies directly related to production and business activities. Businesses and members also boldly shared their actual operations, reflected on the advantages, difficulties and obstacles they are facing, and proposed many practical solutions to remove obstacles and create a more favorable environment for development.

Notably, “Business Coffee” is held every two months, with each session having a specific topic, suitable for the needs of businesses. This model not only helps members meet, exchange, and strengthen business connections, but is also an opportunity to introduce and consume products and services.

In addition, the program has effectively promoted its role as a bridge between the government and the business community, thereby strengthening trust and enhancing solidarity in the socio -economic development of the locality.

From “management thinking” to “service thinking”

At the meeting, many businesses acknowledged the efforts to innovate in management methods, especially when An Giang province is implementing a two-tier government model. According to businesses, the shift from “management thinking” to “service thinking” has created an open and friendly environment, helping businesses clearly feel the government’s support in all activities. This not only motivates businesses to invest with confidence but also encourages the spirit of innovation, production expansion, and competitiveness enhancement.

In addition to the positive results, businesses also recommended that the government continue to play a creative role, considering businesses and people as the center of service. Some notable proposals include: There should be more support mechanisms for capital, land, administrative procedures; expanding trade promotion programs, connecting markets; enhancing training of high-quality human resources to meet development requirements in the new period.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Ho Viet Hiep, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Business Association, affirmed that the Association will continue to make efforts to be an effective bridge, helping businesses have more opportunities to introduce products, promote trade, and strengthen links in production and consumption. The Association hopes that businesses will proactively seize opportunities, unite, and cooperate to develop together, contributing more to the overall development of the province.

Association merger: Expanding scale, increasing influence

Immediately after the program, the An Giang Business Association and the Kien Giang Business Association (the name of the province before the merger) had a working session on preparing for the merger of the two associations in the coming time. The meeting focused on personnel work, operational orientation and solutions to promote common strengths. This merger is expected to open up great opportunities, creating a larger-scale business organization, capable of leading the business community to develop strongly in the context of integration.

Through this, “Business Coffee” has become a practical forum, helping An Giang businesses not only have a common voice but also access many timely support policies. With the support of the Association, the attention of the government and the efforts of the business community, An Giang will continue to strengthen the investment environment, promote production and business development, contributing to the sustainable economic growth of the province in the coming time.
