On the morning of July 25, two helicopters of the Northern Helicopter Company (Army Corps 18) and Regiment 916 (Air Division 371) mobilized by the Ministry of National Defense continued to carry out the mission of supplying relief goods to people in the highland communes in the west of Nghe An province, which are severely isolated due to prolonged flooding, landslides and traffic jams.
Because the routes to flooded areas such as Muong Tip, Bac Ly, Tuong Duong, and Luong Minh are still not open, two helicopters are expected to make four flights, transporting more than 12 tons of relief goods, including food, drinking water, and essential supplies to these areas.
Along with the Army, on the morning of July 25, hundreds of banh chung, boxes of instant noodles, cakes, and bottled water continued to be donated and urgently sent by organizations, individuals, and people to the gathering point to be delivered to people in isolated areas.
Previously, on July 24, the helicopter force mobilized by the Ministry of National Defense successfully carried out 6 helicopter flights transporting more than 18 tons of emergency relief goods to areas severely isolated by floods in Nghe An province.
Flights are carried out according to flexible plans, ensuring essential supplies are delivered to key areas, promptly supporting people in urgent situations.
