The race to sign Nico Williams is getting more exciting than ever as Bayern Munich react strongly.

According to sources from SkySports and L'Equipe, the German football champions are willing to pay a salary of more than 12 million euros per season for the Bilbao star.

Bayern are ready to put Williams in the second highest paid group in the team – around 15-19 million euros (equal to Gnabry, Coman, Musiala, Mueller).

The offer that Bayern made is far beyond Barcelona's current ability to pay ( Barca promised 12 million euros , but it is difficult to reach this figure due to the salary limit applied by La Liga).
