Apple surprise tonight

Besides the iPhone 17 or Apple Watch Series 11, Apple may launch AirPods Pro 3 headphones at the event taking place tonight (Vietnam time).

In a post on social network X , analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from TF International Securities suddenly said that Apple will launch AirPods Pro 3 at an event taking place at 0:00 on September 10 (Vietnam time), although initially predicted the product would be launched next year.

“Apple is expected to launch AirPods Pro 3 in the second half of 2025, while a larger upgrade with an infrared camera may appear in 2026,” Kuo wrote.

This is not the first time rumors of AirPods Pro 3 being released later this year have surfaced. Previously, Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman also predicted products expected to be released later this year, including the new generation AirPods Pro.

“There will be a new generation Apple Watch, Vision Pro with a faster chip, and iPad Pro with M5 processor.

Users can also expect new AirPods Pro, as I reported earlier this year that Apple was developing headphones that could measure heart rate, in addition to the HomePod mini and Apple TV,” Gurman shared in the Power On newsletter in late August.

Based on rumors, AirPods Pro 3 may be equipped with a heart rate sensor, a feature that appeared on Powerbeats Pro 2. The headphones will integrate an LED optical sensor, which can emit pulses to measure heart rate based on blood flow.

If it works like the Powerbeats Pro 2, the AirPods Pro 3's heart rate data will sync with popular health platforms.

According to 9to5Mac , AirPods Pro 3 can improve connection stability. The product's charging case is also designed to be thinner and smaller, similar to AirPods 4.

In a September 9 post, Gurman emphasized that AirPods Pro 3 will not significantly improve sound quality and active noise cancellation (ANC).

“I still expect the AirPods Pro 3 to launch on September 9 with a heart rate sensor. Other features include design improvements to accommodate the new charging case. Upgrades to sound and active noise cancellation may not appear,” the Bloomberg writer emphasized.

There have been rumors that the ANC on the AirPods Pro 3 will be better, along with the H3 chip to improve sound quality. However, the focus of the product may be on the heart rate sensor, serving health and fitness.
