Bac Ninh: Collecting more than 14.2 trillion VND in tax arrears

BAC NINH - According to authorities, since the beginning of the year, the entire Bac Ninh province has collected more than 14.2 trillion VND in tax arrears from organizations, businesses, and individuals in the area.

Of which, tax debt collection from last year is over 928 billion VND, the rest is debt collection arising this year.

Tax officials review the list of businesses to urge budget collection.

The above results were achieved because in the past time, the provincial Tax Department has focused on implementing drastic measures to urge and collect tax debts according to regulations such as: Reviewing and classifying debts to assign to tax departments and teams to collect; promptly notifying tax debts to more than 134 thousand businesses; nearly 1.4 thousand decisions to enforce the withdrawal of money from deposit accounts at credit institutions and commercial banks.

At the same time, the tax department announced that invoices were no longer valid for more than 580 businesses and publicly announced the list of more than 1,600 tax-indebted units on mass media. Every month, the tax department organizes a review and assessment of collection results, and takes measures to remove difficulties to improve the effectiveness of tax debt management.

From now until the end of the year, the Tax Authority will continue to inspect, organize tax collection and ensure that arising debts are in accordance with regulations.
