Bac Ninh - an attractive destination for investment capital

Asserting the leading position

According to a report by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the province has risen to become the locality attracting the most new FDI capital in the country, with nearly 1.5 billion USD in the first eight months of 2025.

At the 2025 Investment Certificate Awarding Conference held in mid-August, in addition to 26 domestic enterprises with a total capital of VND 149,135.4 billion, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, awarded Investment Certificates to nine FDI enterprises with a total capital of USD 322.56 million; nine FDI enterprises adjusted their capital to increase by an additional USD 762 million and two enterprises committed to expand their projects with a total capital increase of USD 300 million. Thus, the total investment capital and expansion commitments awarded at the conference reached more than USD 7.233 billion, including many projects in the fields of high technology, green technology and environmental friendliness.

Sharing about this issue, Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan informed: Currently, Bac Ninh has 33 industrial parks that have been approved for investment policies and approved for investors to build and operate industrial park infrastructure, with a total area of about 10 thousand hectares. Notably, industrial production activities continue to be the main growth driver, helping Bac Ninh maintain its position in the top group of the country in terms of industrial scale.

According to Mr. Tuan, in the coming time, the province will encourage the development of ecological industrial parks, green and digital transformation enterprises, and increase the ability to participate in the global value chain. In addition, Bac Ninh will also focus on removing difficulties, promoting socio -economic development, creating an image of a livable locality for both residents and foreign experts.

Committed to accompanying businesses

According to Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, in the coming time, Bac Ninh province will focus on strongly attracting investment in key areas, creating a boost for trade and service activities, creating an ecosystem associated with culture and tourism in parallel with industrial development. The goal is to attract 6 billion USD of FDI capital and 12 billion USD of domestic investment capital by the end of the year. Gia Binh airport project and supporting projects are expected to create a new wave of investment in Bac Ninh. The province prioritizes perfecting policies to attract technology enterprises, promoting comprehensive digital transformation, investing in strategic transport infrastructure and high-tech industrial infrastructure.

Along with that, Bac Ninh has formed and developed an ecosystem of supporting industries and possesses a team of high-quality, professional workers; at the same time, it has a synchronous infrastructure system, a convenient traffic connection system, creating favorable conditions for investors' operations. "Bac Ninh has an attractive investment environment, leaders and departments and branches always care about and support to solve investors' difficulties in a very professional manner", Mr. Ben Ding affirmed.

Bac Ninh province will create all favorable conditions to welcome investors. In addition, the province will promote investment attraction, planning university urban areas to develop high-quality human resources, implementing social security policies associated with sustainable development orientation, meeting the increasing needs of domestic and foreign investors.
