In recent years, thanks to preferential loans from the Social Policy Bank, thousands of poor households, disadvantaged households, and policy families in the border district of Ea Sup in particular and Dak Lak province in general have escaped poverty and become rich right in their own villages.

According to the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank, as of May 31, 2025, the total outstanding policy credit balance in the province reached VND 8,537.9 billion, with more than 162,582 outstanding customers; of which Ea Sup district alone had a total outstanding policy credit balance of nearly VND 600 billion, with more than 15,000 outstanding customers.
Policy credit capital has made an important contribution to sustainable poverty reduction in Dak Lak province in general and Ea Sup district in particular.
By the end of 2024, Dak Lak province will have 34,434 poor households, accounting for 6.38% and 27,651 near-poor households, accounting for 5.12%. Dak Lak province strives to reduce the poverty rate of the whole province to below 3% by the end of 2025; reduce the poverty rate in poor districts by 4-5%.
From policy credit capital, poor households, near-poor households, and policy families have invested in developing production, raising livestock, creating jobs, exporting labor, educating children, building and repairing houses, water works, etc., gradually stabilizing their lives and rising out of poverty sustainably.
For poor households and policy families, policy credit capital is not only a "salvation" but also demonstrates the profound humanity of a major policy of the Party and State.

The golden rice boat longan garden of Ms. Pham Thi Chi's family is one of the effective agricultural development models from credit loans from the Social Policy Bank in the border area of Ea Sup district.
Leaders of the Dak Lak Province Social Policy Bank visited the golden rice longan growing model of Ms. Pham Thi Chi in Thinh Phu village, Ia Lop border commune, Ea Sup district. The golden rice longan garden of Ms. Pham Thi Chi's family is in bloom. The policy credit loan for growing longan has helped her family escape poverty. And this is the cow breeding model of Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan's family in Thinh Phu village, Ia Lop border commune, Ea Sup district. From policy credit loans, he has invested in cow breeding since 2007. The cow breeding model has helped his family build a spacious house and now the herd has grown to 28 cows. Thanks to developing a livestock farming model from a loan from the Social Policy Bank of Ea Sup district, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan's family has escaped poverty and built a spacious house right on the border area of Dak Lak province. Not only enriching himself, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan also guides a number of other families to develop a cow breeding model using preferential loans from the Social Policy Bank of Ea Sup district to help them escape poverty. To effectively promote policy capital, officers of the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank regularly visit the grassroots to inspect and guide people to use capital for the right purposes.
Leaders of the Social Policy Bank of Ea Sup district inspected, guided and encouraged people in the border commune of Ia Lop to use the loan capital for the right purpose and promote the capital's efficiency. With preferential loans and guidance from the Social Policy Bank of Ea Sup district, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich in village 7, Cu Mlan commune, Ea Sup district invested in planting and caring for 2 hectares of Ruby guava in an organic way to develop the economy. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich's ruby guava garden grows well in the border area. Officials from the Dak Lak Provincial Social Policy Bank and Ea Sup District visited the ruby guava growing model of Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich. From the organic ruby guava growing model, in addition to selling fruit, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich also produces Briet Tea products from guava leaves, earning an annual income of 400-500 million VND. Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich said that thanks to the policy credit capital, she overcame difficulties, invested in a green garden and achieved the results she has today. And this is the lush green mango garden of Mr. Dang Van Thuong's family in village 4, Cu Mlan commune, Ea Sup district, which is invested in and cared for with policy credit capital from the Social Policy Bank of Ea Sup district.
In 2022, Mr. Dang Van Thuong received a loan of 60 million VND from the Ea Sup District Social Policy Bank to invest in a drip irrigation system and fertilizer to take care of his mango garden. With the encouragement of local authorities and guidance from the staff of the Social Policy Bank, the mango growing model of Mr. Dang Van Thuong's family has grown well and started to yield harvests, helping him reintegrate into the community.
