Tra Kot Commune celebrates 75th anniversary of the establishment of the first party cell

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Kim Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of Bac Tra My District Party Committee, Nguyen Huu Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Nam Newspaper (twinning unit with Tra Kot commune), leaders of Tam Hiep commune (Nui Thanh) - twinning unit, leaders of departments and offices of Bac Tra My district and neighboring communes; all party members of Tra Kot commune Party Committee.

75 years ago, on December 30, 1949, Tra Tak Nu Party Cell was split and established two independent cells, Tra Tak Nu Party Cell and Tra Tak Kot Party Cell. Tra Tak Kot Party Cell has comrade Ho Truyen as Secretary. After 75 years of construction and growth, Tra Kot Commune Party Cell today has 134 party members operating in 6 affiliated cells.

Over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of Tra Kot commune have united and unanimously built the commune to gradually escape poverty, moving towards building a new rural commune according to the orientation of the Party Committee of the commune.

Infrastructure, electricity, roads, schools, health care , and administrative agencies are being built more spaciously. The rural traffic system and bridges are being invested in and built to be new, complete, and closed, so that the rainy season is no longer interrupted. In particular, the opening of the DT617 Tra Kot - Tam Tra traffic route will open up a new development connection direction for the locality.

The average growth rate of the following year is always higher than the previous year, the economic structure shifts towards trade and services accounting for 20% of the local economy. The average income per capita reaches about 25 million VND/year.

At the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of Bac Tra My District Party Committee Nguyen Kim Son congratulated and acknowledged the efforts and results of Tra Kot commune in recent times in terms of Party building, government building, sustainable poverty reduction, and people's life development...

Mr. Son suggested that Tra Kot continue to promote the results of the past 75 years of construction, successfully complete the goals set out in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term, and make achievements to welcome 2025 as a year with many important events for Bac Tra My in particular and Quang Nam province in general.
