Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City received the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the President

On the morning of March 1, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City held a ceremony to receive the Second Class Labor Medal awarded by the President and Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in education and training.

Accordingly, the President awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City for its outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2018-2019 school year to the 2022-2023 school year.

Since its establishment in 1977, the Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has been responsible for synthesizing and evaluating the performance of the Department of Education and Training and the entire sector; performing administrative, management, and financial management tasks for the activities of the department; and emulation and reward work of the department and the entire sector.

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Duong Anh Duc awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training.

Previously, in the 2011-2012 school year, the Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City received the Third Class Labor Medal awarded by the President.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister also awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 7 individuals of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City with outstanding achievements in education and training from the 2018-2019 school year to the 2022-2023 school year, contributing to the cause of national construction and defense.

Collectives and individuals received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister

Among them, the collective receiving the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit is the Center for Information and Education Programs. The individuals include: Mr. Ho Tan Minh, Chief of Office of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Luong Thi Hong Diep, Head of the Department of Preschool Education; Mr. Cao Minh Quy, Head of the Department of Continuing - Professional and University Education; Mr. Nguyen Kim Luyen, Deputy Head of the Department of Political Ideology; Ms. Tran Thi Kim Thanh, Deputy Head of the Department of Continuing - Professional and University Education; Mr. Tran Trong Nhon Hoa, specialist of the Department of Financial Planning and Mr. Pham Phuong Binh, specialist of the Department of Continuing - Professional and University Education.
