Ms. Nguyen Thi Y Binh (Tan An City) often shares about her life on social networks with sincerity, thanks to which her personal brand is growing more and more.

From worker to young businesswoman

Once a worker at Tan Huong Industrial Park (Tien Giang province), Ms. Nguyen Thi Y Binh (born in 1995, Tan An city, Long An province) has overcome difficulties to succeed. Currently, she is the owner of the April 30 coffee shop (Tan An city); at the same time, she operates 2 stores selling and repairing mobile phones, Bong Store and Bong Repair.

“During my time as a factory worker, I learned diligence, patience and a spirit of progress. In 2015, I met my “other half”, who was working at a phone store at the time. And we both shared the same desire to escape from stereotypical work and rise up with our own hands,” Ms. Binh shared.

With little capital, lack of experience, and no guidance, the young couple started their entrepreneurial journey from a small yard in front of their house. They set up a temporary booth selling phone accessories. “When it was sunny, we moved out, when it rained, we temporarily covered it. But from those small steps, we saved up and gradually expanded our products and business model,” Ms. Binh recounted.

After nearly 10 years of persistent learning, falling and getting up, she and her husband have developed a business in the field of mobile phones and technology repair services. What makes Ms. Binh special is not only her entrepreneurial spirit but also her ability to quickly grasp market trends and apply digital technology to all stages of operation.

Right from the beginning of opening the store, she learned how to manage inventory, track orders using software, and connect multi-platform sales from Shopee to TikTok Shop. For her, technology not only helps save time and reduce errors, but is also a "powerful assistant" that helps reach customers even when they are not present at the store.

For Ms. Binh, the story of starting a business is not to recount success but to motivate those who are starting out. “My husband and I learn, do, and adjust ourselves every day. If we make mistakes, we correct them. If we don’t know, we ask. The important thing is to always keep the faith and work together, not to blame or give up halfway. If I can do it, you can do it too. You just need to dare to start, persevere, and maintain a spirit of progress,” Ms. Binh shared.

Building personal brand from social networks

Ms. Nguyen Thi Y Binh often shares dining locations in the province with many people through social networks.

Currently, Ms. Binh is also a familiar face on social media platforms such as Facebook and TikTok with the familiar name "Y Binh Day". Although she has not received formal training in communications or filming techniques, it is her sincerity and closeness in sharing about cuisine , technology and everyday stories that have helped her receive much attention and love from social media users.

“At first, I used TikTok just for entertainment after work. Gradually, I realized that this is a very suitable platform to share the truth about life and work. I started posting short videos about eating out, experiencing restaurants, filming to help older people do business, and even everyday moments,” said Ms. Binh.

What makes viewers love her is not her special effects but her simple storytelling, her smiling eyes, her gentle voice and her positive energy. For her, each video is a journey, from choosing the food, finding the right angle to choosing the background music, all of which she seriously does herself.

Currently, Ms. Binh's TikTok channel has more than 151,000 followers and more than 762,000 followers on Facebook. Not chasing after "celebrity" perfection, Ms. Binh chooses to communicate with her heart. She proactively responds to comments, listens to suggestions and even makes videos based on viewers' suggestions. For her, personal branding is not something too far-fetched. It is simply a real image, being true to yourself, sharing what you believe in and being inspired by your own journey.

“The most important factor is sincerity. Viewers on social networks are very perceptive, they recognize who is living authentically and who is “putting it on”. If you live right and share right, the content will naturally touch the hearts of others. Once trust is created, the personal brand will develop sustainably and be full of value,” said Ms. Binh.

From an ordinary worker to a successful young businesswoman, from an entertaining TikTok user to a community inspiration - that journey is not only about starting a successful business but also about finding yourself and creating value for society in the digital age./.
