Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan informed about the socio -economic development situation; potential, advantages, as well as development orientation in the coming time of the province.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan said that the socio-economic development perspective of the province in the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, is to maximize the potential and specific advantages to develop Binh Dinh into a province with a high proportion of industrial and service economy; a center for processing, manufacturing, services and tourism industry in the region... The goal by 2030 is that Binh Dinh province strives to be in the leading group of the North Central and Central Coast regions, becoming a center for industry, services, tourism, culture and marine economy. The province develops rapidly and sustainably on the pillars of industry, high-tech agriculture , tourism, seaports - logistics, urbanization. At the same time, promote green, digital, circular economy, carry out digital transformation, improve the investment environment, attract large domestic and foreign enterprises. By 2050, the province will continue to be among the leading provinces in the Central region, with a GRDP per capita and urbanization rate higher than the national average. The province will become an important center for science - technology, innovation, and AI application in Vietnam, as well as a center for tourism and regional connectivity. The socio-economy will operate according to a digital model, with manufacturing and service industries developing towards smart, green and circular economies. The province is currently focusing on attracting investors with modern, environmentally friendly technology, efficient use of resources, and products with competitive advantages, in the following fields: Agriculture, forestry - fisheries, industry, port services and logistics, tourism, economics, urban areas, healthcare, education and information technology.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan hopes that through this working session, the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management will help Binh Dinh have effective solutions to improve the Competitiveness Index, improve the investment environment, attract businesses to invest in the province, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Binh Dinh province in the coming time. In addition, the province also wants to connect training as well as expect the school to advise on development policies in the field of marine economy and tourism development.

Speaking at the meeting, the representative of the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management briefly informed about the school's operations.
