Professional soldier Lieutenant Colonel Tang Ba Hung, born in 1978; hometown Thanh Lang commune, Thanh Ha district, Hai Duong province, is a driver of Platoon 2, Company 1, Transport Brigade 653, Logistics Department of Military Region 3.

Previously, at 1:30 p.m. on September 11, 2024, following orders from his superiors, Lieutenant Colonel Professional Soldier Tang Ba Hung and his teammates helped people in Truong Son town, An Lao district, Hai Phong city overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. While trimming fallen trees with his teammates and people, comrade Hung was electrocuted; his teammates and people performed first aid and took him to Kien An Hospital, Hai Phong city for emergency care, but comrade Hung did not survive and died at the hospital.
Professional soldier Lieutenant Colonel Tang Ba Hung sacrificed his life while performing his duty to help people overcome the consequences of storm No. 3; he demonstrated his bravery and willingness to sacrifice to save people's lives and property, contributing to further enhancing the noble image of Uncle Ho's soldiers and the Vietnam People's Army in the new situation.
