The US is spending billions of dollars in the race to develop synthetic artificial intelligence, which has been likened to a technological "atomic bomb". Meanwhile, China has chosen a pragmatic approach, prioritizing the application of AI in life and the economy .
Homegrown AI models are used in exam grading, weather forecasting, agriculture , and even police dispatch. Tsinghua University is also testing an AI hospital, where doctors are supported by up-to-date data and virtual colleagues.
Beijing also pumped $8.4 billion into an AI fund and launched an “AI+” campaign to boost the economy by 2030. This difference comes from semiconductor chip limitations and the perspective of optimization rather than scale racing with the US. Many experts say that if AGI is just a “distant dream”, China can get ahead through practical applications.
The global AI race thus becomes a long-term bet, where the pragmatist may emerge victorious. Dear readers, please watch more videos : AI Trash - New problem on social networks VTV24
