Silver price today on the world market is stable, currently at 771,000 VND/ounce (buy) and 777,000 VND/ounce (sell).

Silver prices are expected to remain flat in the final session of the week. In the current context of inflationary and geopolitical uncertainties, the demand for protective assets such as precious metals, especially silver, is increasing.

Investors tend to look to silver not only as a hedge against inflation, but also because it has the potential to generate high returns over the long term. While gold prices tend to fluctuate within a narrow range, silver tends to fluctuate more widely, creating opportunities for investors to exploit price swings.

In addition to economic and geopolitical factors, industrial demand for silver, especially in the production of phone batteries, electric cars and electronic devices, is also an important factor affecting silver prices. Therefore, the outlook for silver prices in the coming time is still quite optimistic, especially when investors look for safe assets with high growth potential.

A number of major banks and industry experts predict that silver could surpass gold by the end of the year. Ole Hansen, head of commodity strategy at Saxo Bank, believes that silver could surpass gold by 2025.

“This year’s silver rally is fundamentally no different from previous rallies. Silver still mirrors gold’s moves, but with greater intensity. Often referred to as “boosting” gold, silver tends to move up and down more aggressively than its stable sibling,” Hansen said.
