Trinh Linh Giang aims for US PPA pickleball tournaments

Right after winning the Pro Men's Singles title at the PPA Tour Asia - Malaysia opening tournament, Trinh Linh Giang was present at the "Chef de Pick" sports event to launch the Gamma pickleball racket line designed by Kamito for him.

This event also announced Giang's role as brand ambassador on the morning of July 10 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the participation of many famous guests such as athletes such as Nguyen Tien Minh, Vu Thi Trang, Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat, Hong Son.....

Sharing after the event, Trinh Linh Giang emphasized: "Since switching to pickleball, I have determined that this is a serious decision. Not only for achievements, but also as a way to develop myself and move towards more sustainable things."

He said that the PPA Tour Asia championship title is the biggest milestone in his career so far in the entire Asian region since starting tennis and switching to Pickleball. This is considered a milestone and motivation for him to continue pursuing higher goals and an important springboard for further self-improvement.

Trinh Linh Giang's next plan is to maintain his form with domestic tournaments and aim for the next tournaments of the PPA Tour Asia which will take place in Japan and Hong Kong (China). The further goal of this tennis player is to aim for the US PPA playground in 2026.

"In 2025, Giang will still focus on competing in Asia, winning many matches and achieving the best results possible at PPA Tour Asia. From 2026 onwards, he will aim for a bigger stage, PPA America" - the Pro Men's Singles Champion - PPA Tour Asia 2025 expressed.

Assessing the development of the sport in Vietnam, Linh Giang also said that the gap between Vietnamese and foreign athletes is not too big.

"Pickleball is a sport with a special feature that when reaching a professional level, the gap between athletes is not too big. Vietnamese athletes can completely compete if they maintain discipline and fighting spirit with foreign opponents. We need to try every day to go further" - Linh Giang expressed.

Trinh Linh Giang's achievement with the first PPA Tour championship for Vietnam helps raise the position and image of Vietnamese pickleball on the regional sports map.
