GIIAS 2025 recorded a record number of participation with the participation of 39 passenger car brands, 4 commercial vehicle brands, and 16 motorcycle brands. Strong participation from Chinese electric vehicle manufacturers such as BYD, Chery, GAC Aion, and Jetour, bringing a series of electric vehicle models and advanced battery technology.
This shows the strong electrification trend in the Indonesian market and the increasing competition between traditional Japanese brands and emerging rivals.

At the GIIAS 2025 event, many new car models were introduced, including Vietnam's Vinfast introducing the VF7 model with two versions: VF 7 Eco and VF 7 Plus.
The Indonesian Automotive Manufacturers Association (GAIKINDO), the event organizer, affirmed that the 32nd GIIAS is an important milestone, showcasing the achievements of the Indonesian automotive industry to the world and a platform to introduce the latest innovations and technologies, contributing to shaping the future of sustainable transportation for the country and the region.
