
Launched in June 2024, the campaign attracted 226 works by 131 authors across the country, spanning three genres: poetry, songs and short plays. The entries showed serious investment, sticking to the theme, expressing love for the profession, dedication and sacrifice of journalists. The organizing committee selected 30 outstanding works to award prizes.

In the poetry category, the first prize was awarded to “On the burning ink road” by Lien Pham ( Quang Nam ). The second and third prizes respectively went to emotional works, vividly depicting the image of journalists in life and career.
The drama genre recorded many realistic scripts, clearly showing the professional conflicts and bravery of journalists. “Uncle’s Advice” by director, Meritorious Artist Trinh Quang Khanh ( Hanoi ) won First Prize, alongside highly appreciated works such as “Cactus Flower”, “Steel Pen”…

The song genres bring diverse musical perspectives, from lyrical to modern. First prize went to “The Song of the Journalist”, poem by Nguyen Dang Quang, music by Duy Anh (Quang Tri). Other songs such as “Lighting up the Faith of Life”, “I Love the Radio”… also left an impression with their emotional melodies and profound lyrics.
Speaking at the event, journalist Vuong Minh Hue, Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi People Magazine and Head of the Organizing Committee, said: “The campaign not only portrays the portrait of journalists from many perspectives but also contributes to arousing pride and inspiring those who are and will enter the journalism profession.”

From touching poems, heartfelt songs to profound scripts, the campaign has contributed to highlighting the role of journalism in modern society. Not just a welcoming activity, this is truly an artistic chorus honoring journalists, spreading inspiration and fueling the passion of writers today and tomorrow.
