Permanent Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho and Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong presented the decision to the individuals.

On the morning of September 8, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee held a ceremony to hand over the decision to the officials. At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Bac Nam announced decisions on resolving early retirement for management staff to enjoy policies and regimes according to Decree 178 of the Government (amended and supplemented in Decree 67 of the Government) from September 1, 2025.

Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong and Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong presented the decision to the individuals.

Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho commented that through the process of working in many positions, agencies and units, individuals have strived to complete well the assigned tasks, contributing to the completion of the tasks of the agencies and units, contributing to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City in recent years.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee acknowledged and appreciated the efforts and contributions of individuals; hoped that individuals would continue to strive and make efforts for themselves, their families, and contribute to the locality where they reside and the city.

Representing the officials who received the decision to retire early, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, former Head of the Urban Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, respectfully thanked the leaders and colleagues at the agencies and units where they worked for their attention, support and creating conditions for the officials to complete their tasks. At the same time, she pledged to continue to actively contribute to the locality where they reside and the city.
