President Putin sends thank you message to Vietnamese leaders

RIA Novosti news agency reported today (June 24) that immediately after completing his state visit to Vietnam, President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram of thanks to the Vietnamese leaders.

The trip to Vietnam left me with the best impressions ,” President Putin wrote in the telegram.

President Putin noted that the negotiations were truly constructive and productive. The Russian leader expressed his confidence that the implementation of the bilateral agreements reached will contribute to further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Moscow and Hanoi .

I hope that the two countries will continue to actively work on urgent issues on the bilateral and international agenda. I wish you good health and new successes for the benefit of the Vietnamese people, ” President Putin said.

Previously, within the framework of the visit, Vietnam and Russia issued a joint statement on deepening the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership on the basis of 30 years of implementing the Treaty on the fundamental principles of the Vietnam-Russia friendship, highly appreciating the important achievements of the bilateral relationship, affirming the principles, setting out orientations to promote and strengthen cooperation, develop the traditional friendship and the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, for the long-term interests of the people of the two countries, for peace, security and sustainable development in the region and the world.

President To Lam and President Putin witnessed the exchange of a series of bilateral cooperation documents in the fields of education and training, transportation, justice, customs, finance, science and technology, including the Intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education.

President Putin's visit takes place in the context of the Vietnam-Russia relationship developing very well, rapidly and comprehensively; it is a model of mutually beneficial and equal cooperation, in line with the interests for peace, cooperation and development of the region and the world.

This State visit by President Putin is of great significance, further deepening the Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in all fields, especially in the context of the two countries' efforts to realize the Joint Statement on the Vision of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to 2030.
