Panorama of the closing ceremony of the exhibition '80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom

On the evening of September 15, the closing ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition “80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” took place solemnly at the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi ). This is not only a ceremony to end an event, but also a moment to summarize, honor and spread the values that the exhibition has brought.

Attending the closing ceremony were Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Mr. Tran Quoc Vuong, former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat; Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh , Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front, leaders of ministries, branches and localities; distinguished guests representing countries, international organizations, along with a large number of people, friends and international tourists.

Speaking at the program, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that after 19 exciting and emotional days with many activities and events imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, attracting over 10 million people from all over the country, overseas Vietnamese and international guests, the exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" was a great success, exceeding all of our expectations. The Prime Minister emphasized: The exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" affirms that the Party's leadership is the leading factor determining all successes of the Vietnamese revolution.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other Party and State leaders awarded Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 36 collectives with outstanding achievements; awarded and congratulated the units that won the "Outstanding Exhibition Space" award at the Exhibition.

Government leaders awarded certificates of merit to representatives of Voice of Vietnam Radio.

One of the highlights of the Closing Ceremony was a special art program with the theme "I love my Fatherland".

Along with that, the Closing Ceremony ended with an artistic fireworks display, creating an impressive highlight, leaving a good impression in the hearts of people across the country and international friends about a brilliantly successful exhibition, worthy of being a special event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The National Achievements Exhibition, taking place from August 28 to September 15, has attracted special attention from the people and tourists, becoming a large-scale political and cultural event with a profound influence on social life.

On average, there are about 1 million people coming to visit and experience every day, with peak days reaching more than 1.3 million, especially on weekends.
