Organize the Mid-Autumn Festival Program well in 2025

Accordingly, the Children's Day Program and the Provincial Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Parade Competition will be held on 2 days, October 3 and 4, 2025 (ie August 12 and 13 of the lunar calendar) in 3 areas, including: Vo Nguyen Giap Square and some streets in Phan Dinh Phung Ward; Van Xuan Square and some streets in Van Xuan Ward; Cultural House Square yard and some streets in Bac Kan Ward.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism reported on the Plan to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival Program in 2025.

This is the first provincial-level program in Thai Nguyen, with many diverse activities. The venue at Vo Nguyen Giap Square is implemented according to the Mid-Autumn Festival Program "Lanterns light up dreams" with the theme "Mid-Autumn Festival sends all love" organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Thai Nguyen province.

According to the plan, about 2,000 delegates are expected to attend, connecting with the provinces: Lao Cai, Ha Tinh, Gia Lai, Tay Ninh, An Giang.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The first provincial-level Mid-Autumn Festival program in Thai Nguyen needs to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people and be an opportunity to promote the local image, contributing to the development of cultural, commercial and service activities.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested agencies, units and localities to quickly develop specific plans, ensuring necessary conditions for organizing events; encourage creativity in the lantern parade model. At the same time, promote propaganda work so that cadres, party members and people can grasp information; participate, spread the bustling atmosphere, contributing to creating a cultural highlight for Thai Nguyen province every Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also assigned specific tasks to each unit to ensure that through the Program, it will bring children in particular and all classes of people in the province in general a joyful, meaningful, safe and cohesive Mid-Autumn Festival.
