Volunteers cut hair for disabled children - Photo: DV
Within the framework of the program organized in the localities, the Korean volunteer group, supported by volunteers from Danang University of Foreign Languages and Mediapeace staff, organized haircuts, hair styling, beauty treatments, and photography for families of disabled children and disabled children; and provided haircut training at home for parents with disabled children. About 120 relatives and disabled children in the localities had their hair cut and beautified by the volunteer group.

The program also included activities such as giving gifts, exchanging, chatting, and organizing games between volunteers, students, and Mediapeace staff with families and disabled children. The program was carried out with the desire to bring joy and confidence to disabled children and their families through beauty activities, exchanges, and connections with the community. This is also one of the activities in the series of self-help group meetings for parents of disabled children being implemented by the Quang Tri Village Health Association.
